PARIS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | WEDDING STORIES

          OBSERVE LISTEN CATCH

Being present alongside you during your wedding or photo session provides me with the opportunity to narrate your story and capture this moment through photography. I am particularly drawn to wedding photography because it evokes intense and unique emotions. In my view, the most exquisite method of showcasing this special day is through a photographic reportage.

          Shadows and lights

A wedding day is illuminated by different and sometimes unpredictable lighting, contributing to the beauty of such an event and creating contrasting or soft scenes. It is important for me to work with these different lights and use them to enhance the bride, groom, and their guests. Weather is always a concern for couples on their wedding day, but I enjoy covering weddings in all conditions and adapting to the available natural light to capture truly unique moments. Shadows are an essential element of the story I want to tell with you. The light from a window or the shadows cast by a tree, the bride and groom, or a decor element define an atmosphere and highlight important moments.

          Natural

It's often said that nature knows best...
A photograph taken in natural light always captures the most beautiful essence of the moment. During my photo shoots, I prioritize capturing genuine emotions and natural poses, always striving to make you feel comfortable and at ease for impromptu shots that are, in my opinion, the most beautiful. As for lighting, I also give top priority to natural light. I do not use flash during the day to preserve the natural shadows and soft tones of the environment. At night, when the lighting becomes too low, I do use flashes, but always with the aim of maintaining a natural look. There's something ephemeral about the natural that makes photography so precious: it reflects the moment lived, and captures the strong emotions of your special day in all their pure and untouched beauty!

          Colors

This day is a celebration of colors. Of course, there are the natural colors of the wedding venue, such as the sky, the surroundings or the landscapes. However, what makes this day so special and unique are the countless nuances that come together on D-day. From the tones of the style or theme chosen by the couple (Boho, Rustic-chic, minimalist, vintage, trendy, rock or other) to the colors of the region or country where the wedding takes place, the fusion of the bride and groom's origins, and the colors and shades of the dresses, suits and accessories, everything adds to the richness of colors. Blues, reds, greys, pinks and other hues, all contribute to the magic of this day. I am always eager to capture and restore the full spectrum of colors with my creativity and skill. In fact, colors will be the guiding thread of the story that I will tell through my pictures, as they reflect the beauty and emotions of this wonderful day!

A Day with the Bride and Groom:

Before the Wedding: The first exchanges with the future bride and groom sometimes begin even before knowing the wedding date: on the occasion of their marriage proposal… It is a magical moment that I love to capture because it will forever remain an unforgettable moment for the loving couple with often immense emotions. In most cases, the future spouses contact me during the organization of their wedding, shortly after the fitting of wedding dresses or the choice of the reception venue. It is essential for me to meet the bride and groom before the wedding and get to know their story. I want to build mutual trust and a friendly atmosphere so that they can fully enjoy their wedding day and be as relaxed as possible on D-Day. This connection will contribute to the smooth running of the day and will add an extra touch to a lively and natural reporting.
The Wedding Day: As for the bride and groom, a wedding day is like no other for the photographer. It is most often a full-day photo essay that requires professionalism, discretion, and experience in framing and shooting to capture key moments of the day. The day usually begins with the preparations, followed by the ceremony, couple photos, cocktail, decoration, dinner, set-up room, opening of the ball, and finally the evening - most often between 10 and 14 hours of shooting. It is crucial to use high-quality professional photo equipment that can adapt to all light and weather conditions and the time constraints of the day. That's why I always prepare for this day in advance with the bride and groom, so they feel comfortable on the day. My main objective is to capture the natural expressions of the bride and groom and their families and guests. It is also essential for me to bring my sensitivity and creativity to the shoot to deliver the most beautiful memories possible. I work with high-quality professional photo equipment to photograph even in challenging light conditions and save and secure the photos throughout the day. In my opinion, photographing the whole day with the approach of photojournalism - i.e. in a documentary and spontaneous way - will allow you to relive the event completely with its strong and moving moments.

After the Wedding: When the wedding ends, it is time for me to protect the photos and save them in several copies. Then comes the post-processing phase, which is also essential since it will determine the aesthetic rendering of the photos. I process each color photo and some of the black and white photos. To transcribe a wedding day is to tell a story - your story. The crucial step for me is both the color work and finding THE treatment that will sublimate the images. In a second step, I provide the bride and groom with a web gallery containing all the wedding photos. I then deliver a personalized box set to the bride and groom, containing high-resolution images and fine art prints - an object that will be an unforgettable memory before they fly to their honeymoon!

          Wedding Ceremonies:

My wedding report covers all styles of weddings. The ceremonies differ according to the choices of the future bride and groom: the civil ceremony, the religious ceremony (Catholic wedding, Jewish wedding, marriage in the Muslim tradition, Hindu wedding, Shinto wedding, or others…), the secular ceremony, the intimate wedding - elopement… etc.

          Preparing for Your Wedding

Organizing a wedding is an exciting adventure that involves several steps and raises numerous doubts and questions. The first exercise is to select the right wedding providers to make your wedding unique, which is determined by your budget, number of guests, region or country chosen, wedding style, and event colors. To make the best choices, you can consult wedding guides, attend wedding salons, and be accompanied by a wedding planner who will guide and advise you on finding excellent providers.

The wedding planner will know how to determine and find the right vendors to make your wedding original and authentic. If you are getting married in Provence, Corsica, Paris, Brittany, or Seine et Marne, the experience of these wedding planners will save you precious time and open doors that only they know! Getting married represents a significant moment in life; it is an opportunity to reunite your loved ones, family, and offer them a day of good humor that reflects your personality. For a successful upscale wedding, country, rock, or urban wedding, there are many options available to you, and the organization of the wedding, alongside a professional, can be invaluable, especially if your schedule is tight until the D-day.

By visiting my site, you are undoubtedly in search of your wedding photographer. Wedding photographers are plentiful and each couple has unique photographic expectations. Naturally, you want stunning photos taken by an experienced and professional photographer rather than the work of an amateur. This is a shared desire among the majority of brides and grooms, but behind it lies a multitude of tastes, sensitivities, requirements, and budgets! From the photoshoot to the reception of the photos, there are many photographers to choose from, and making a decision is not always easy. The aesthetics of the images and what they convey can help you make a decision, but recommendations and word of mouth can also make the photographer’s choice easier. You may have a preference for silver or digital photography taken with a reflex camera. You may be focused on capturing emotion, smiles, reportage, couple photos, or have a taste for original photography. On the other hand, you may be looking for a professional with a fine art style and more posed photos with an editorial touch. Perhaps you want to preserve your memories in a photo book or as prints. The range of options is wide, and my advice is to choose a photographer whose images captivate you, with whom you have a good rapport, and for whom you have received positive feedback.

When it comes to the floral arrangements for your wedding, choosing the right florist is crucial to achieve the elegance and style you desire throughout the day. However, finding the right professional can be a daunting task. For secular ceremonies, the florist’s role is even more important as they will be responsible for the floral architecture and the overall elegance of the ceremony. They will take care of table decorations, ceremonies, cocktails, bouquets, boutonnieres, and many other details that will adorn the reception area. To find your ideal wedding florist, wedding blogs, planners, social networks, and recommendations can prove to be valuable resources.

Choosing the right professional for your wedding stationery is also crucial. They will be responsible for designing the day’s graphics, starting with the invitations, menus, ceremony booklets, wedding decorations, seating plans, brunch invitation cards, thank you cards, and so on.

As someone who works with many wedding actors every year, I am always happy to provide advice and tips to help you make the right choice.
