A Corsican wedding is almost never a day. It is a weekend, and the schedule is set by the heat rather than by the plan.
What the island does to a timeline
Ceremonies move late — six or seven in the evening — because nothing outdoors is bearable before five in August. The couple session lands at the very end of the light, and dinner starts when Paris would be finishing.
Plan the whole weekend, not the Saturday. The Friday arrival dinner is usually where the guests actually meet each other.
The light
Harder and more contrasted than anywhere on the mainland, with a blue in the shade that no amount of grading can invent. It rewards early mornings and punishes midday. I shoot to protect the highlights and let the shadows go where they want.
Travel and coverage
I arrive the day before, always. Flights and one night of accommodation are quoted at cost, with no surcharge on top. Multi-day coverage is priced as a whole rather than as a stack of day rates.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover the whole island?
Yes, from Bonifacio to Cap Corse, and the weddings I photograph there are usually spread over two or three days.
How is a multi-day wedding quoted?
As a whole. A welcome dinner and a brunch are part of the story, not extras billed separately.
When is the best month?
June and September. August is possible but the heat pushes everything late and the island is at its busiest.
