Destination Wedding Photographer in France
Brittany, Normandy, Corsica, Provence — and beyond
Paris is where I am based. It is not where every wedding happens. A third of the couples I work with celebrate somewhere else in France, often over two or three days, and the reportage changes shape accordingly.

Brittany
The Morbihan gulf, the Emerald Coast, Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, the Bono. Granite, tide and a light that changes every twenty minutes. Brittany weddings are rarely formal and almost always outdoors at some point in the day, whatever the forecast promised. Brittany weddings, in French.

Normandy
An hour and a half from Paris. Manor houses, long lawns, the Creully and Giverny country. Guests can come and go from Paris in a day, which makes Normandy the most practical destination for a couple with an international guest list. Normandy weddings, in French.

Corsica
Almost always a weekend rather than a day. Maquis, sea light, long dinners that run past midnight. The heat dictates the schedule: the ceremony moves late, the couple session happens at the very end of the day. Corsica weddings, in French.
How a destination reportage differs
Three things change when the wedding leaves Paris.
I arrive the day before
For anything beyond three hours from Paris. It removes the risk of a delayed train and it lets me see the venue in the same light you will have.
The coverage stretches
A welcome dinner on the Friday and a brunch on the Sunday are part of the story, not extras. Multi-day coverage is quoted as a whole.
The images loosen
Guests who have travelled behave differently from guests who drove in for the afternoon. There is more time, more informality, and usually the best frames of the whole weekend come from the margins rather than the ceremony.
Frequently asked questions
Do you travel outside Paris?
Yes. Roughly a third of the weddings I photograph are outside the Paris region — Brittany, Normandy, Corsica, Provence, Burgundy, and abroad. Travel is quoted with the coverage, and for anything beyond three hours from Paris I arrive the day before.
How are travel costs calculated?
Transport at cost plus one night of accommodation for a destination requiring an overnight stay. There is no per-kilometre surcharge on top. Everything is written into the quote before you sign.
Do you photograph multi-day weddings?
Often. In Corsica and Provence a wedding is frequently a weekend: a welcome dinner, the day itself, and a brunch. Multi-day coverage is quoted as a whole rather than as a stack of day rates.
Which regions do you know best?
Brittany, where I have family roots and have photographed the Morbihan and the Emerald Coast many times; Normandy; and Corsica. Beyond France I have worked across Europe and further afield.
What is the starting price for a destination wedding?
Coverage starts at €2,900, with travel quoted separately and transparently. See the investment page.
