Getting married in the 7th arrondissement

From the Eiffel Tower to Les Invalides, monumental Paris

A Paris wedding photographer since 2014, I work with couples across the west of the city. The 7th is the Paris of monuments and of the Faubourg Saint-Germain: the Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars, Les Invalides and the Musée d’Orsay — but also discreet private mansions hidden behind their carriage doors.

The spirit of the 7th arrondissement

        The spirit of the 7th

The 7th weds the grand and the intimate. On one side, the monumental perspectives of the Champ de Mars and Les Invalides; on the other, the aristocratic discretion of the Faubourg Saint-Germain, its cobbled courtyards and hidden gardens. It is a noble Paris — never showy.

The Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower

No couple session compares to one at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, on the lawns of the Champ de Mars. At daybreak the place empties and the light turns magical.

Les Invalides and the Pont Alexandre III

The esplanade of Les Invalides and the Pont Alexandre III are among the most photogenic settings in the capital. Gilding, long perspectives and pale stone compose a solemn, romantic backdrop.

The quarter also offers gentler settings, from the banks of the Seine to the surroundings of the Musée d’Orsay. The town hall of the 7th holds ceremonies minutes from the great monuments — ideal for flowing from ceremony to session to reception without long transfers.

        The way I photograph

I work as a candid documentary editorial photographer. I do not pose my couples; I document their day as it is truly lived, seeking the light rather than imposing it. Against monuments as commanding as those of the 7th, I make sure it is always your story that stays in the foreground.

I cover the whole of Paris and the Île-de-France; full details of my collections are on the investment page.

        Frequently asked questions

Do you cover the entire 7th arrondissement?

Yes — from the Champ de Mars to Les Invalides and from the Faubourg Saint-Germain to the banks of the Seine, in its private mansions and at the town hall of the 7th.

Is a session at the foot of the Eiffel Tower possible on the wedding day?

Yes — it is one of the great moments of a wedding in the 7th. Early in the morning the Champ de Mars is nearly deserted and the light is at its most beautiful.
